In this introductory course, students will learn to manage large files, make basic selections and changes, correct pictures and images, explore advanced image techniques, and publish the images on paper and the web.

Prerequisite: Adobe Photoshop Introduction
Students will work on projects to create a portfolio of their Photoshop work. Projects will include but not limited to multimedia covers, posters, images edits and billboard designs.

This introduction course will cover tools, paths, colors, gradients, styles, combining objects, working with layers, templates, transforming objects, using actions, filters, effects, slices and simple animation.

Learners will gain skills on one of the most widely used layout programs in the design industry. Students will learn all the tools, how to work with text, paragraphs, graphics and layers. Knowledge will include advanced graphic techniques, optimization and assembling of publications for professional printing.
