Prerequisite: Basic Computer Skills

 

This course is designed for working adults with little to no experience in MS Word. Course will include basic review, editing, formatting, creating of letters, tables, creating reports and newsletters, labels, and mail merge.

Microsoft Word Advanced

Prerequisite: Microsoft Word Introduction

 

Course will cover advanced lists, charts, markup tools, advanced tables and graphic usage, outlines, master documents, indexing, headers and footers, bookmarks, embedding and linking objects, and using macros.

Microsoft Excel Introduction

Prerequisite: Basic Computer

 

Skills This fundamental Excel course is designed for the novice. Learn how to create spreadsheets through formatting and editing, writing basic formulas and functions, and creating simple charts and tables.

Microsoft Excel Advanced

Prerequisite: Microsoft Excel Introduction

 

Course will cover how to manage large workbooks, using advanced sorting and filtering, hyperlinks, creating advanced charts and templates, using worksheet auditing features, importing and analyzing database data, and preparing a final workbook for distribution.

Microsoft PowerPoint Introduction

Prerequisite: Basic Computer Skills

 

Basic MS PowerPoint is designed to introduce those wanting to learn how to create presentations and will cover the basics of formatting and arranging text and images, transitions, lists, graphics, themes, animations, and other multimedia within the presentation.

Microsoft PowerPoint Advanced

Prerequisite: Microsoft PowerPoint Introduction

 

Students will learn advanced skills on how to create slide masters, comments, hand-outs. They will also learn to apply advanced graphics and media techniques to create dynamic slide shows with charts and tables.

Microsoft Access Introduction

Prerequisite: Basic Computer Skills

 

Students will learn how to create basic databases using table templates, work with queries and create simple forms and reports.
